The estate was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini, maker of the famous sports cars and tractors, who chose Umbria to produce wines of excellent quality. Since then, thanks to the passion and dedication of all the staff and the oenological management of Riccardo Cotarella, the company has been producing wines of superior quality with great attention to nature and the environment. Lamborghini and wine might sound like a strange combination, but Ferruccio had an agricultural background. So after selling his car brand, he went back to his ‘roots’ and started growing wine. And not without success! Over the years, the quality and range has grown. There are now six wines and five proseccos available with the famous logo. But despite its now recognised quality and wonderful name, few people know this Italian winery.
